Well, today I come to keep them occupied with a bit of information I could gather during my stay (which he still has a few weeks) by the country called United together.
Today's post is of the highest intellectual content, not suitable for people who are interested that gilada of alcohol. Lie. Let's talk about beer gentlemen, sublime drink that a true philosopher of modernity (well, he said the "alcohol", but well worth it anyway) I spend a great phrase. We started with that, and then if I tell you my experience in the breweries to which I was.

Comments: The tour is very good, showing enough of the production, you can even taste the beer when it is in the middle of his trial. At the end you can try all 11 beers they produce and also a cider. Its strong beers are known as IPA (Indian Pale Ale) beers with fruit tones and a half pretty sweet, although a lot do not like, do not try. Overall the variety is wide and pleasant.

Location: Shiner, Texas, USA ( 603 East Brewery Street Shiner, TX) . It is up to 126 miles of Houston, 92 miles from San Antonio and 80 miles from Austin. The only option is to arrive by car, is a very small town of only 2000 inhabitants.
Cost of tour: 7 USS
Merchandising: Very good, you got almost everything you can think of.
Comments: Of the 4, the largest brewery by far (800,000 barrels per year of production). The tour will not let you take pictures, which is quite disappointing. There is good information about the production process, and was the only where you saw the bottling process running. When you finish you get 4 cards, each redeemable for a tasting of the 5 beers they produce. The Shiner Bock is by far the most recognized, but all are very good.
As I said before, if anyone has another experience in another brewery (any country) and also went to one of these, is more than welcome to comment for posterity!

Cost of tour: 7 USS
Merchandising: Very good, you got almost everything you can think of.
Comments: Of the 4, the largest brewery by far (800,000 barrels per year of production). The tour will not let you take pictures, which is quite disappointing. There is good information about the production process, and was the only where you saw the bottling process running. When you finish you get 4 cards, each redeemable for a tasting of the 5 beers they produce. The Shiner Bock is by far the most recognized, but all are very good.
As I said before, if anyone has another experience in another brewery (any country) and also went to one of these, is more than welcome to comment for posterity!

New Revolution Speed Facemasks

Today´s post has a very high intelectual content, not suitable for those persons that are interested in that stupid thing called alcohol. Kidding. We are going to talk about beer gentlemen. That incredible beverage to whom a genious modern philosofer dedicated a great phrase (well, he said to alcohol, but it also works for our purpose) [sorry the video is in spanish, could´t find the english version]
Let´s start with that, and then, we pass directly to my experiences in American breweries.
So let get started. The four breweries I´m going to describe are very good, and very recomendable, each for a particular reason. If someone else has another experience with any of the four, or with a brewerie not listed here, please share it!
Samuel Adams ( http://www.samueladams.com/index.aspx )
Location : Boston, Massachusets, USA ( 30 Germania Street, Boston, MA).
Near orange metro line (Stony Brook station).
Tour cost : free, with a glass as a gift.
Obviously they show the production of the beer process. When you finish the tour, they give a glass and you can taste 3 of their principle beers.
Merchandising : very good and complete, glasses, t-shirts, jackets, they are all very nice.
Comments : During the tour you can taste the beer ingredients (yeast, wheat, hop, barley). Although they don´t show a lot, the tour is still interesting. The Samuel Adams Boston Lager (they told us that Lager means repose in german) is the most important product of the company, a very well known and tasteful beer.
Location : Boston, Massachusets, USA ( 306 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA).
You have to take the red metro line until South Station. There you have a 10 minute walk to the port zone, where the brewery is.
Tour cost : 5 USS
Merchandising : Isn´t very worthy
Comments : The tour is very good, they show the production process, and they even let you taste the beer before the final filtration of the process. When you finish you can try any of the 11 beers and a cyder they produce. Their strong point are the beer known as I.P.A. (Indian Pale Ale), which have a fruity and sweet taste in the mouth. Although I don´t like them a lot, you have to try them anyways. In the whole, the variety is wide and nice.

Location : Houston, Texas, USA (2000 Lyons Avenue, Houston, TX) . The public transportation system of is a little deficient, but depending where you are located you can get there with just one or two buses. The best way to know that is maps.google.com.
Tour cost : 7 USS, with a glass as a gift.
Merchandising : Very small, but with great glasses.
Comments : They Have only just one tour time (around 3 pm). Once you pay, They Give 4 tokens. Each one Can Be Exchanged for a tasting, and you CAN try and Stock of the 5 beers They occur (before or after the tour). An interesting aspect of the tour is That It Is Given by the president of the company, a guy very simple and accessible, with a lot of information. Saint Arnold is the saint of the beer Producers!
Spoetzl Brewery ( http://www.shiner.com ) (also known as the Shiner Brewery)

I have a couple of posts ready, but I do not give it a few finishing touches, so today I wanted to leave you a picture that probably most of you have seen as a small, a very sugary Disney version, almost cloying. We're talking about dear friends of Winnie Pooh.
interesting thing here is that the other side of the Iron Curtain (read the Soviet Union) also had a version of this character, a version that my taste is much better. So I will introduce you to Vinnie Puck, square-patterned more Western version, but much more enjoyable. So

Tweed Jacket Elbow Patches
It's time for Rooooockets! ... Or ezquizofrenia
a couple of days ago I went to watch a game of basketball for the Houston Rockets, a team that for one who goes a bit off guard, played in the city of Houston, where I am spending my days.
Clutch mascot (a bear) is responsible for making all kinds of bullshit and fuck someone in the audience, giving away T-shirts and balls to the public, sponsors or make any game where the public can be won from a car at some balls around. Cheerleading dances are also entertained. When you want to account, among all that and the game you spent 3 hours flying.
regard to party, this good, even on a fairly remote location, you see pretty well, you got the screens where you spend the repetitions, the videos of the players before they are very good, and the sound of breaks. Finally, the Rockets ended up winning the LA Clippers,
96 to 83. Scola good start, in the second half fell enough, that's where Lowry and Brooks appeared to carry forward the Rocketiana raised. Stood well to the Clippers' best player, Griffin, who in the fourth quarter only to take care of mistakes.
Finally I leave a videito showing the Toyota Center, the promise of more info (I have planned also see Spurs and return to the Rockets), and the recommendation that the you can, go to see a home match of the NBA ...

Bipolar?
Well, after much time that could have written something, recently put it to me today. Do not complain, not that they can not sleep waiting for a new post.
is almost a month now I'm here, and I wanted to say something about what I'm seeing the U.S. as a society.
have a high degree of bipolarity as a society. I tell a couple of experiences.
A-PDA: PDA means public display of affection (Public Demonstration of Affection in English). So, have a term for that. What does it mean? It's wrong to have seen displays of affection in a public place such as a square, the subway and street. Is frowned upon to kiss your girlfriend, or even lie tenderly in each other's shoulders. Obviously, every society has its customs, but .... it's crazy to enter the world of bowling ... anything goes there. In a bowling
everything is permitted. Give kisses, get their hands on the ass, having sex (not see it in USA yet, but in Cancun saw several of those scenes!). You can have girls who get on a stage and dance like strippers, (all) agree that they can put twine between her tits ... and we talking about people who were not leased by the venue. There is a great contrast between what can be done in society, and that is worth everything that occurs in bars.
B-Light Beer: not how many places in the world can find Light Beer. It is a concept that does not make sense to me. Here you can find it, in fact, most who take only light beer. But the most interesting is to see people who says "Oh no, I will not drink beer because there is no light" life after being killed by ingesting foods that have a billion calories per square centimeter. Really, have a serious problem with alcohol, because between light beer and beer with almost no alcohol (budweiser, coors, miller, etc) ... is impossible to get drunk with Bud Light.
C-Measures: from time immemorial (actually since it began as a colony of UK) United States adopted the English measurement systems, which are obviously completely different to anything else that exists on earth, and contain such irrationality not be based on the number 10. So why a book tour can tell you on both systems? So, I say that has 10000 gallon tank, but then they say they sell 10,000 liters of beer per year. Use feet and inches, but sometimes you say book in centimeters or meters.
not, to you I may look like complete bullshit, nonsense, issues raised by a goose and a half boring type ... but they want to tell you, Freud would have done here is a feast of the lords fucking
